In the Jazz field Lavender Grace has worked with Richard Cooper for many years. Together they explore the rich world of the jazz era from the 1920's-1960's. Highlighting the works of Gershwin, Cole Porter and Carlos Jobim.

Richard Cooper has been a performing musician and Mendocino Coast resident for the last 28 years. Originally, from New York City, Richard earned a B.A. from the University of Miami and California music teaching credential from Sonoma State University. He has worked as a musician on passenger cruise ships around the globe, with an extended stay Nagoya, Japan for 7 months. Skilled on piano, acoustic bass, flute and saxophone.
