Keith Abrams |
Keith Abrams's first professional
show was in 1976. His mother was a piano teacher. In college he studied
fine arts, music education and english. Since then he has played with
many world class musicians. His musical genres have included Indian
Classical, Reggae, Jazz (Cuban & Brazilian), Funk, Soul and Gospel.
In the music of Gershwin and Ellington he finds a unique style that
allows his own music to evolve into new forms from these American greats.
Keith believes we have a responsibility to represent where we come
from, to be informed by the spirit of "here", your place
in the world, and express this life experience. |
