HOLLY NEWSTEAD Bookings
dmacphoto.com Dancing from the age of 5 when her mother put her in a ballet class. After several years honing her skills, Holly decided the costuming wasn’t satisfying, so she joined gymnastics where she found pleasure in sequined leotards. Upon her entrance to college, in the mid eighties, more pleasure was found in bad eighties nightclub wear. In 2003, after seeing a flyer offering a belly dance class in Mendocino, Holly’s costuming interest was again piqued. Holly has been now been dancing with Trillium Tribe since 2004 and has an extensive costume collection.

LIA MIYAMURA
Lia grew up on the Mendocino coast and has been interested in dance and performing since she was a child. In 2003 she took a bellydance class reccommended by some friends and she loved it. Due to some traveling and other social interests she did not return to it until 2006. She became a member of Trillium Tribe in 2007 and has since then grown in so many ways due to the bonding of women and inspiration of Middle Eastern dance that has come along with it.
